Wall has served as superintendent of the Santa Fe Independent School District since 2008. She has worked as an educator for the past 35 years, including 11 at Santa Fe ISD. Wall is also the president-elect of Learning Forward, a nonprofit professional organization of educators. Her district is home to Santa Fe High School, the site of a May 2018 school shooting.
