O’Donnell is an American television pundit, actor and host of “The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell.” Previously, he worked on staff for the U.S. Senate and as an executive producer and writer for the TV series “The West Wing,” for which he won an Emmy Award. O’Donnell is also author of the best-selling book “Playing with Fire: The 1968 Election and the Transformation of American Politics.”
