Wu, D-Houston, has represented House District 137 since 2013. He sits on the House Appropriations and Human Services committees. In the 85th legislative session, Wu co-authored and passed House Bill 7, a Child Protective Services overhaul bill reforming court processes and procedure for child welfare suits. He is also an attorney in private practice, representing children and parents in CPS cases.
