Dr. Michelle Lynn-Sachs founded Spotlight Consulting and Coaching to help Jewish non-profits shine through customized leadership development, coaching, and strategic consulting. As a professor at JTS and then at the HUC-JIR, Michelle taught and mentored students on the path to careers as rabbis, educators, and cantors. As a consultant and coach, Michelle has coached and guided both lay leaders and professionals throughout the Jewish community, helping people become the leaders they dream of being, so they can help their organizations achieve their most ambitious and boldest vision. Before founding Spotlight, Michelle held consulting, faculty, and senior leadership positions at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the Jewish Theological Seminary, the Union for Reform Judaism, the Experiment in Congregational Education, and Holy Blossom Temple. Michelle is a proud alumna of Brown University (AB), the Rhea Hirsch School of Education at HUC-JIR (MAJE), and New York University (PhD). She completed the coach training program at the Coaches Training Institute. Michelle is the Chair of the Wexner Field Fellowship.
