El Gabfest will be live in Austin as part of Slate Day, a full-day affair put on in conjunction with the Texas Tribune Festival to showcase Slate's lineup of bold, curious, politically minded podcasts. El Gabfest host León Krauze, an anchor for Univision in Los Angeles and a professor of journalism at the University of Southern California, will lead a conversation on U.S.-Mexico relations after the election of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

He’ll be joined by Antonio Garza and Roberta Jacobson, both former U.S. ambassadors to Mexico.
