Amicus will be live in Austin as part of Slate Day, a full-day affair put on in conjunction with the Texas Tribune Festival to showcase Slate's lineup of bold, curious, politically minded podcasts. Amicus host
Dahlia Lithwick, Slate’s Supreme Court correspondent and legal writer, invites some of the nation’s best lawyers and legal thinkers to discuss the future of the court after Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement.
She'll be joined by
Angela Onwuachi-Willig, Dean and Professor of Law at the Boston University Law School;
Cristina Rodríguez, Leighton Homer Surbeck professor of law at Yale Law School;
Stephen Vladeck, the A. Dalton Cross professor of law at the University of Texas Law School; and
Adam White, director of the Center for the Study of the Administrative State at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School.
Tickets to Amicus Live are not included with a Festival pass and are sold separately here. Festival passholders will be admitted to this event for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
